Shannon Heim, Director of Senior Services, represented Community HealthCare System at the Kansas State Capitol on Wednesday, January 21, during Aging Services Day.
During the event, Senator Kenny Titus addressed the Senate with a point of privilege, recognizing the vital impact and advocacy of aging services providers across the state. Shannon was one of five constituents invited to the Senate floor in recognition of this important work.
Aging Services Day is an annual gathering at the Kansas State Capitol where long-term care providers unite to advocate for the needs, dignity, and well-being of older Kansans.
