Community HealthCare System (CHCS) is pleased to announce the purchase of the former Sunflower Medical Clinic in Marysville, marking an exciting step in expanding access to quality healthcare in the region.
CHCS plans to open the clinic in mid-April as a family medicine practice, offering comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages. On-site laboratory services will also be available, providing convenient, close-to-home care for the Marysville community and surrounding areas.
“We are incredibly excited to be joining the Marysville community,” said John Fitzthum, Chief Executive Officer at CHCS. “This expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to improving access to high-quality, compassionate care in northeast Kansas. We look forward to building strong relationships with patients and becoming a trusted healthcare partner in Marysville.”
The new clinic will focus on family medicine, delivering a full spectrum of care including preventive services, chronic disease management, and routine health needs. The clinic will offer convenient in-office lab services, including blood draws and specimen collection, with further testing coordinated as needed.
