We are proud to congratulate our Onaga and St. Marys Laboratory staff on successfully passing their CLIA survey, with zero deficiencies, this week! This achievement reflects both teams’ continued commitment to quality, accuracy, and patient safety.
CLIA, or the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments, are federal regulations that ensure laboratory testing meets rigorous standards for quality and reliability. These surveys evaluate everything from testing procedures and equipment to documentation, safety practices, and staff competency. Passing a CLIA survey confirms that our lab is meeting nationally recognized standards for excellence in laboratory testing.
This accomplishment is a direct result of the hard work, attention to detail, and dedication of our Onaga and St Mary's Lab teams. Thank you for the important role you play in delivering safe, dependable results for our patients and providers every day. Your efforts do not go unnoticed—well done!
We should also note the surveyor noted he was very impressed with Lab Director, Danica Bato, “stating this was a top 10 of over 2,000 surveys he has conducted!" Way to go!
