Community HealthCare System was proud to participate in the 2026 Virtual Health Care Career Day, presented by the Kansas Hospital Association, Kansas Board of Regents, and the Kansas Department of Education on February 18, 2026.
CHCS hosted students from Centralia, Jackson Heights, Onaga, and St. Marys for this statewide online event which gave them a behind-the-scenes look at careers in health care by taking them inside Kansas hospitals for a “day in the life” experience. Participants were able to hear directly from health care professionals, learn what different roles involve, and ask questions during live Q&A sessions.
Events like this are an important way to connect with future health care professionals, spark interest in medical careers, and help students explore the many opportunities available in hospitals and clinics across Kansas.
CHCS is proud to support workforce development and encourage the next generation of health care workers by sharing real-world experiences and the meaningful work that happens every day in our communities.
