CHCS Associates Volunteer at Body Venture Exhibit in Onaga

CHCS was proud to have three associates volunteer at the Body Venture Education Exhibit hosted by Onaga High School on February 12th. Body Venture is a fun, interactive program that travels to schools through the Kansas Department of Education, helping students in Kindergarten through 5th grade learn about the human body in an engaging way.

The exhibit featured 10 stations, each focused on a different body part and how it works. CHCS volunteers supported the event by staffing stations and teaching students about key parts of the body throughout the morning.

Our volunteers included:

  • Adam Lindhorst (Rehab Department) – Bone Station
  • Manda Thompson (Quality Department) – Skin Station
  • Christine Merriman (Acute Nursing Department) – Muscle Station

The exhibit took place in the Onaga High School Gym from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Thank you to Adam, Manda, and Christine for representing CHCS and helping make this educational experience meaningful and memorable for local students!
