Physical Therapy

Physical therapy is an exercise-based method of evaluation and treatment that helps you return to your prior level following an injury and/or surgery. It is also beneficial for those who have had strokes, experience chronic pain or simply need general strengthening.

We work closely with you and your family to create and implement a comprehensive physical therapy treatment plan, whether you are in the hospital (inpatient), in our clinic (outpatient) or in your home. This plan will address your unique needs and is created by:

  • Performing a comprehensive (physical, emotional and social) assessment and evaluation of your particular ailment.
  • Providing a physical therapy diagnosis of your condition and assessing the likely treatment outcome (prognosis).
  • Implementing a treatment plan, which will include specific exercises, and mechanical treatment.
  • Providing consultation and determining if and when you need to be seen by another health care professional.
  • Making recommendations for self-management.

We work in partnership with you, your family and other health professionals to provide family-centered care. You are an important member of our community, and we look forward to working with you.

We work with inpatients and outpatients.
