An average of 123 lives are lost to suicide each day, and nearly 1 in 5 U.S. adults lives with a mental illness. Mental Health First Aid is an interactive training that teaches how you can help.

Certified instructors Roz Lewis and Angie Sauvage from Community HealthCare System will teach common signs and symptoms of mental illness and substance abuse, how to interact with a person in crisis, how to connect the person with help, and how to assess, listen, give reassurance, encourage professional help, and more! The training is highly interactive and is applicable to anyone who wants to be able to help others.

Please note that this class is 8 hours long total: 4 hours each morning for two days. Cost is $25. Pay with cash or check when you arrive.
