  • Develop work plans and timelines for repair, maintenance and construction projects and assign staff to complete assignments.  
  • Coordinate the selection of and supervise outside contracted staff on a project basis. 
  • Coordinate the repair and scheduled maintenance of Biomedical Equipment.  
  • Perform routine diagnostic procedures and develop and perform repairs and routine maintenance on all HVAC systems at all CHCS locations. 
  • Conduct training sessions for staff including, but not limited to, safe operation of vehicles, hazardous materials, asbestos management and other physical plant safety issues. 
  • Assist in the development of long-range plans for the physical plant.  
  • Schedules, directors and coordinates all routine and preventative maintenance, custodial functions, major repair and special projects for the Onaga campus. 
  • Develop, implement and maintain maintenance department policies, goals, objectives and procedures. 
  • Determine staff requirements. Hire, train, develop and evaluate staff.  
  • Maintain physical plan records.  
  • Prepare cost quotes or estimates for maintenance work orders. 
  • Develop work order priorities, assign staff and evaluate outcomes.  
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert in all areas of Maintenance throughout all locations of CHCS.
  • Supports and abides by the mission, values, and policies of CHCS in all activities.
  • On-going compliance with CHCS educational requirements.
  • All other duties as required.
