  • Must be a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)
  • Develop, implement and provide training to system-wide kitchen staff on recipe, food appearance, and food safety standards. 
  • Create new recipe and presentation ideas. Implement these ideas by supervising and/or coordinating activities of cooks and dietary aides engaged in food preparation. 
  • Assist the Registered Dietitian and Dietary Managers in menu development.
  • Provide regularly scheduled training to food service staff on cooking techniques.
  • Assist Dietary Managers and Dietitian with food ordering and other managerial duties as requested.  
  • Supports and abides by the mission, values, and policies of CHCS in all activities.
  • On-going compliance with CHCS educational requirements.
  • All other duties as required.
